A note from the founder
Why I built SiteGuardian
I've been on the wrong end of a 2 a.m. 'the site is down' phone call more times than I'd like to admit. The site in question was a small bakery's online order page. It had been broken for six hours. Nobody noticed because nobody was watching.
So I built the watcher I wished I had. SiteGuardian is a small piece of software you install once: it pings every URL you give it, once a minute, and emails you the second one of them stops answering. No dashboards to learn, no alerts to configure, no AI concierge to consult. Just a green check or a loud email.
It's a small product. That's on purpose. Most monitoring tools try to be platforms with teams behind them; SiteGuardian tries to be a pair of eyes.
If a friend's online store goes down for half a day and she only finds out from a customer, I want this thing to be the alert she already had. The small, boring safeguard that pays for itself the first time it fires. Add a URL, and you own it.
